As indicated by the story, the fortune was covered by Thomas J. Beale and his partners in the mid nineteenth 100 years. A list of the treasure’s contents has only been partially deciphered from one of the three ciphers. The treasure’s existence is still a mystery because the remaining ciphers have not been deciphered. 

3. The Devil’s Letter Sister Maria Crocifissa della Concezione,  

A nun at the convent of Palma di Montechiaro in Sicily, made the claim in 1676 that she had received a letter from the devil himself. Sister Maria was of the opinion that the letter was written in a language of demons because it contained an incomprehensible collection of symbols and characters. The letter’s meaning and whereabouts are still a mystery, despite modern attempts to decipher it using a variety of techniques. 

4. The Dighton Rock Engraving 

The Dighton Rock is an enormous stone in Massachusetts shrouded in petroglyphs, including a puzzling engraving. Theories ranging from ancient Norse explorers to Native American tribes have been floated regarding the inscription’s origins and significance for centuries. The inscription is described and suggests that it was created by the Phoenicians or Carthaginians in a letter that was written in the 17th century by Yale College president Ezra Stiles. The inscription’s true authorship and significance are still unknown. 

5. The Somerton Man’s Note In 1948, 

The body of an unidentified man was discovered on Somerton Beach in Adelaide, Australia, where it was dubbed the “Somerton Man.” A piece of paper with the Persian word “Tamam Shud,” which means “ended” or “finished,” was among his belongings. A later pursuit revealed a book in a vehicle, connected to the man, containing a progression of letters accepted to be a code. Notwithstanding broad examinations, the personality of the Somerton Man and the significance of the code stay strange. 

6. The Letter of Prester John  

In Europe in the 12th century, a letter that purportedly came from Prester John, a legendary Christian king who was said to have ruled a prosperous kingdom in the East, was circulated. 8. The Zodiacs’ Letters In the late 1960s and early 1970s,  

A notorious unidentified serial killer in Northern California sent a series of cryptic letters and ciphers to the media. Threats, demands for publication, and taunting messages were frequently included in these letters. Some ciphers have been deciphered, while others, like the 340-character cipher, have only recently been cracked in 2020. Nonetheless, the genuine character of the Zodiac Executioner and the full importance of a portion of his messages remain secrets. 

9. The Rohonc Codex 

An illustrated manuscript whose language and origin are unknown. The codex, which was discovered in Hungary at the beginning of the 19th century, has over 440 pages of text written in an unidentified script and illustrations of everyday, religious, and military scenes. Regardless of various endeavors to translate the text, the language and items in the Rohonc Codex stay unexplained, prompting hypothesis about its motivation and origin.

The Taman Shud case is similar to the Somerton Man case in that it involves the discovery of a dead man and a cryptic note. A man’s body was discovered on Somerton Beach in Adelaide, Australia, in 1948. A piece of paper with the words “Tamam Shud” from a book of Persian poetry was hidden in a pocket of his trousers. When the book was discovered, it had a phone number and an odd code. The man’s personality and the meaning of the note and code stay obscure.
